#5verbs Challenge

All students in ENGL120 and ENGL121 are invited to participate in the #5verbs Challenge.

What is the #5verbs Challenge?

The First-year Writing Program teaches writing by focusing on processes, practice, inquiry, and engagement. Your experiences with writing—in and out of class—are active. They are verbed. That is, they involve an array of actions. The #5verbs Challenge invites you to share five verbs indicative of your first-year experience at EMU. These may relate to your writing process, your changing habits and activities, or, more generally, the ways you hope to be able to characterize your semester when it concludes in December.

How to Participate

  1. Login to Twitter.
  2. Follow @emufywp.
  3. Tweet your five verbs in a public message to @emufywp. Include as hashtags #emu, #fywp, and #5verbs.

Example: @emufywp Hoop. Help. Dwell. Choose. Declare. #emu #fywp #5verbs
